The Drafting and Graphics Technology Program at New Mexico State University- Carlsbad can provide you with the education and experience you need to pursue and succeed in entry-level positions in the career of Drafting and Graphics Technology.
Associate degree and certificate options are offered in general
drafting.
Students receive training in modern computer drafting and graphics laboratories with the latest in computers, peripheral equipment, and professional software. Our laboratories and experienced faculty provide the highest quality training.
Classes are regularly scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends to serve both
full and part-time students, including high school students.
A CAD users group has been formed at New Mexico State
University-Carlsbad. Membership in this group, which is entirely
voluntary, provides the student the opportunity to interact with members of industry
and other CAD users. This can provide valuable insight into the many
varied opportunities that this field provides.
